Survey- City v Rag rivalry

Guys...another response...Im 24, a college lecturer and just finished a masters in sport history, got things from that being published in coming months and basically looking now at other research interests - hence fan rivalry.

The opened ended questions were fairly obvious I thought. It's hard to get lots of information and opinion purely from questionnaires, interviews are better to get this. However for the sheer volume of participants I wanted this wasn't possible. Open ended questions allow fans more freedom in their answers.

Incidentally, why would this be a rouse? What would I possibly get from obtaining City fans email addresses? This surely would serve no purpose in life?!

Apologies, as I underestimated the level of academic research in my previous post! Bit above high school or college. Will be interested to see the final published paper. Wonder who they get to peer review such articles? One extra question I could think of, which is part of the City/Rags rivalry/folklore, would have been "Place of birth?", rather than just one's current location. If your survey was announced on RedCafe, for instance, many of the respondents wouldn't have even visited England, let alone Manchester. Their outlook on the rivalry would likely be very different than m/c based/born reds.
Good luck with it.
