Guys...another response...Im 24, a college lecturer and just finished a masters in sport history, got things from that being published in coming months and basically looking now at other research interests - hence fan rivalry.
The opened ended questions were fairly obvious I thought. It's hard to get lots of information and opinion purely from questionnaires, interviews are better to get this. However for the sheer volume of participants I wanted this wasn't possible. Open ended questions allow fans more freedom in their answers.
Incidentally, why would this be a rouse? What would I possibly get from obtaining City fans email addresses? This surely would serve no purpose in life?!
