Sven Goran Eriksson | Passes away from cancer aged 76 (p 32)

RIP Sven - a wonderful guy who led us out of the darkness of the Pearce years. He gave us the hope that we were sadly lacking and was making measured steps with us. That progress would have continued. He will never be forgotten.
 
I remember r kid telling Thaksin to keep Sven after the Fulham game and Thaksin gave a very political response saying, "We will review the situation at the end of the season and make a change if we need to." At that point, the red mist descended and I tried to kick Thaksin up the arse but I couldn't get my leg over the metal railing dividing us.

That was a lucky escape considering Thaksin was surrounded by 4 Odd Job lookalikes. It could have been the end of me lol and I would have missed the great times of the Sheikh Mansour era. The OSC would have lost their biggest supporter on this forum too lol.
