Long article in Norwegian about him here. Comes across as a grounded and motivated guy. He spent a lot of time meeting clubs and getting pros and cons before picking City.

His family are all Rosenborg fans and his sister is a talented handball player.

Oh I’m sure he will,impossible to say for sure whether players live up to their potential, but ihis potential is very high, and he seems very driven and very thoughtful about his career pathway, he had many choices and took his time.I’m expecting he’ll take a place in the squad when Bernardo leaves next summer and becomes a regular over the years. I’d say at good 90% chance he plays for us.

So we trusted O'Reilly but we didn't trust him?

how you said, in late november and december when our midfield was shot to shit, we never seemed considered him playing at CM/ACM, his positon which seems like a lack of faith, but when. we were desperate for a LB so Gvardiol could cover the CB crisis, we trusted him to do a job, which he did.

not sure why stating we were shy to trust a few players in those positon is an issue we all saw it, it isn't anti club to criticise you know

Sorry, but I'm struggling to understand much of that.

You seem to state that playing O'Reilly meant we didn't trust him because we played him at LB. That makes no sense.
