Sverre Nypan | Signs for City on a 5 year deal

Watched several clips of him and still unsure if he's predominantly left or right footed. Very good player, has bits of Merlin, Nasri and Gundo about him. Although a very different player, I'm scratching my head now as to where him and Echeverri fit in together. But good players always find a way, and the levels of potential were signing are stratospheric.

You have been saying similar for a while, snd seem confident. Seen him play much?

I don't know anything about him other than one or two articles I have read. Not seen him play.

I had high hopes for Kayky, Patrick Roberts, Brahim Diaz etc so just a bit cautious.

He’s 2 footed with electric pace kinda got that Kaka like speed in getting away from players.
 
huge talent, never seen him play tho. I would say him and Echeverri are is the Alvarez category of young talents, but Alvarez went straight to first team, Echeverri and Nypan could use a full season maybe somewhere else to develop as they are a bit young, but so is Cubarsi and Yamal at Barca and they started each important league and CL games for them but of course had the advantage of being around since years in youth teams.

picking decent loan can be crucial, nothing like Sheff United etc like with McAtee in the past, maybe a decent EL side in Spain or Germany...
 
If he's good enough, then he's old enough.
I don't like to farm out players because they can also pick up bad habits

Despite the hype around him, there are so many players ahead of him at the moment, so let's just hope we get to see him one day and he becomes a crowd favourite.

Well the only players that will be ahead of him this time next year after his loan are Reijnders, maybe Gonzalez but he's more a 6 and maybe O'Reilly that's it.I have high expectations we'll see him and he'l be with us a long time.

Let's hope so, but presently, he's an investment.

Whilst it's likely that Gundo, Bernardo, Grealish and McAtee will all leave in the next 12 months, you ignore that there's the small matter of Rodri, Kovatic, Foden, Lewis, Nunes and Ecceveri still in the queue ahead of him. Doing it for Rosenberg is one thing; becoming trusted and a 'Pep' regular is another, and isn't easy for any youngster - as was proven last season.

Could be great; could be another Perrone who's just left for Como, having been signed 2 years ago for £8M aged 20 and was seen twice in a City shirt.

I suspect Kovačić will also be gone in 12 months. Neither Rodri or Nunes are relevant to Nypan's position and Echeverri (like Nypan) will go out on loan this season I think. We'll see if either are considered developed enough to join the 1st team for 26/27
