This is by far and away the biggest difference in ability between our teams (in our favour) in my lifetime. There isn't a single one of their team would get in ours. We know how to play them and we have the fear factor.

So why am I convinced they are going to beat us?

The complacency some people seem to have about this fixture doesn't sit right with me. We should win but nothing would please them more to throw a spanner in our works and they have enough quality to cause most teams a problem on their day. Let's not forget that we have lost matches against worse sides than them this season.

Perfectly put, don't understand why so many of us think we will turn up there and smash them all over the show. Trust me they will be more up for it now they have been beaten by liverpool. I'll take 1-0 now. Im not confident at all. As above post correctly points out, we have lost matches against worse sides and made us look terrible. Im hoping they win on wednesday but don't progress, and we win at the screams. BUT I'm far from thinking it will be an easy 3pts. (thats 35yrs being a blue talking)

Just had a quick wander over to the rag cafe for a laugh and its seriously in meltdown, more so than ever before, getting so badly slapped by their so called 'biggest rivals' has really set home how bad they are, virtually every thread is about Moyes, and they don't want to kiss and make up!. We need to approach this game with caution, but also with the confidence that we can beat them.

Shit, just clicking on this thread give be butterfly's in my stomach and we've got a game before it.

If it's just about form and quality then we should smash them but Darby's nether are.

Worse teams have beat us but I think we'll be more up for this than those matches, and we'll get more space. No way will they sit back and defend for 90 minutes.

All wrong I'm afraid. We need to win all our other games specifically so we can throw this game... S.O.D. Let them have a point (i can't stomach letting them win) they'll think its a turning point and extend Gollum's contract. We still win the league and Wee Davey keeps his job. Simples.
