Mahrez played as a false 9 in a recent game (was it United away?) and did quite well. We might see that, akthough doubt it. Pep will want him to play his way into form on is preferred position.

And we won't play two holding midfielders. We haven't for a long time (apart from Anfield second half)

This is not going to be an easy match and I`ve seen Swansea play a couple of times on the box and have been impressed with them.10 game unbeaten run, with us also enjoying a great run.
I expect a fair few changes for us but hopefully we can get the job done without and injuries and extra time.

I think Pep will go a lot stronger than many expect.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Ederson start, considering Pep didn't commit to Steffen playing in his press conference.

Don't think Garcia plays.

Happened every cup game thread, people putting out a really weak team. There will be zero youth players playing tonight.

He will probably bring in Walker, Fernandinho and Laporte from the Liverpool XI. Possibly Torres but I wouldn't bet on it.

Gabby should start as I would have him in for all the league games coming up.
