Swansea fans haven't sold out

Hi lads, swansea fan here just trying to explain our current situation. Swansea to Manchester as many people have already pointed out is a long way on a Monday night, its a bloody nightmare and means time off work. (yes some of us work) which this time of year with annual leave isn't easy.
Another poster in this thread said it was our biggest game for decades, sorry but this is clearly nonsense, this game is imo no more important than the next 37, its just 3 points however a few months back we played a game which is billed as the richest in sport.

I am not going monday night but I have travelled to Bury, Rochdale, Macclesfield, Oldham, etc on a Saturday more times than I can remember. I would have been there on a saturday/sunday no doubt.

Also worth bearing in mind our first 3 away games are yourself, chelsea and arsenal so again some will be put off.

Over 2500 on a monday night isnt that bad, for a club that average 15000 home fans last year.

I think I made the comment but if I didn't then I definitely would've. It's your first match in the Premiership and one made after many years in the wilderness. Like all football fans, you were waiting for the fixture list to see where you'd be starting. You might be going to the first home match but seeing your Boyos walking out at our place for their first Premiership appearance will simply never be replicated.

Swansea had 600 left on Friday, which isn't too shabby considering! And the only tickets we have left are in the corners of the 3rd tier. 1st and 2nd completely sold out.

You don't have to justify yourself to anyone. Put it this way, we wouldn't take 2500 to your place on a Monday night.

I think its a great effort from swansea and as already mentioned - sky are at fault here. Why couldnt rags / wba been played tomorrow night?
Anyhow regarding taking 2500 to swansea on a monday night - you just never know with city, this would have a big novelty factor as most of us have never been before, therefore wouldnt be surprised if we didnt sell out. Lets hope were not in that position anyhow and its played at 3pm on a sat!!

Don't think I would be going to Swansea on a Monday night nowadays.

However, we did (including myself) take a lot to TNS away which was played at Cardiff on a Thursday night.

Have to agree 2500 is a good effort on a monday night.

How many would Wigan bring? Or Fulham? Or Bolton? Blackburn?

Good effort Swansea.
