I was there.

I was also in the crowd of 8,053 on March 17 1964 against Middlesbrough.

City won that match 1-0 with a goal by Derek Kevan.

You lightweight PB, my brother also lived in Stretford, was there. He tells me that if it wasnt for 50 or 60 fans from another team turning up ( think their game v Bury was postponed ) it would have been a fair bit worse. ;)

Saturday 16th January 1965. I was 4 days old, we lost 2-1, was this some sort of omen or warning? If it was im still glad it was the path i took, think of the alternative ( shiver down my spine )
