He was walking around just fine this afternoon, definitely not COVID and nothing obvious i.e. a cast or protective boot. Strange how the club are so vague about him not being "fully fit".
I’m walking round fine without any sign of injury or a protective boot but if I walk more than a few hundred yards I need to sit down and rest!
In other words an injury isn’t always visible. Like you I’m frustrated and concerned about him though. In the beginning Pep said he had a muscle pull if I remember correctly so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. :-)

I can only assume that you had someone at Barrow to witness our 2-0 defeat and felt you needed a strongish side!
19 strong squad, minus 7 covid victims equals 12, plus 1 eds player selected. Think we have been lucky in where the virus has fallen.
I hear that emergency subs bench includes Mike Summerbee, not sure whose on ours though.

We have 6 days between Arsenal and Swindon. And 8 days between Swindon and Chelsea. That is enough for every player to make a full recovery for each match. There’s no way Pep is letting the big hitters not play for 2 weeks and lose rhythm. So people will be disappointed with our team for this one. The only players left out will be the covid cases and injuries.
Pep is getting easier to predict these days ;)
