SWP... Legend?

Not even close to being a legend. A fantastic player for us during his first spell (and a nice bloke apparently), but he was a shadow of his former self second time around.

No. He played for us, that is all. Scored some good goals, and was a nice guy, but hardly legendary status.

He loves the club, we love him and the club, but not a legend. Cult hero yes, legend no.

How do you define "legend"? If its someone that gives his all for the shirt then yes he's a legend. If its someone who contributes hugely to the success of the club then no he's not. I loved him as a player and he was my sons favourite player for many years. There will always be a place in my heart for Shauny but I agree with the earlier posts he is more an icon than a legend!
