SWP

Terrible today. The few occasions he did get the ball he took about ten touches to get it under control and never looked like beating the man. Does need a rest methinks.
We should hijack United's attempt to buy Valencia from Wigan and offer an alternative right sided winger of genuine pace and quality to the squad.

Been thinking it for ages to be honest. He cannot do simple things....like 5 yard passes.

He is effective playing on the wing when he can rut at players on the break etc...

Against teams who park the bus in front of the goal, on a slow dried out pitch, he's ineffective.

maybe he'll play on the wing when we sign a big striker who can head.

Chelsea have buggered him. He is not the player who left. His control was somewhat individualistic, his pace was stark, and he could beat a man easily, shoot from outside the area and I am still waiting this season to see that old spark in his play.

Shauns problem is that in tight games he doesnt have the control or the vision to be very effective. Give him width and space to run at a man then he is devastating.

Someone has already said horsed for courses - Stoke's pitch is tiny, in both width and length and we were never going to get either wide player in behind the full back which is where SWP does his damage.

He does need a rest, he has been looking less sharp since the rags kicked him around Eastlands, Hughes must be able to see that he needs to be withdrawn for a game, and Hughes must of been able to see that today wasnt gonna be his day.

he has had 2 bad games by his standards

cant believe it. new to this forum thing but had enough already - are you city fans or am I on the Chelsea site
