SWP was played on the wrong side. He has always been a right sided player whether at full back, winger or midfield.

Exactly. SWP was brought on primarily to help solve a DEFENSIVE problem down England's left which Milner couldn't deal with. He did that, there was very little threat from that side for the rest of the match. He wasn't great getting forward but he wasn't the worst either. Rooney and Lampard were invisible for the first hour or so and for all the slagging he gets Heskey was about the best attacker, setting up the goal and getting in dangerous positions even if he can't finish.

no swp did'nt have a great game but niether did any1 else.but i blame capello for putting a right winger on the left wing.

SWP showed he's a far more rounded player than Lennon and i'd pick him on our right hand side.

Wasn't SWP's worst game, he actually looked to open up USA or take a man on, which is more than can be said for anyone else out there.

Lennon showed he's way out of his depth at international level; scared to take a man on, lack of composure and generally shitting himself when on the ball.

433 Cole Rooney SWP, can revert to for 451 if we're getting hammered... mind you we can only switch to this when Barry is back.
