You talk about the apple not falling far from the tree. Perhaps you are proving your own point in thatI think kids learn very little at school myself. So if their parents are dicks then the apple will not fall far from that tree. My daughter is 12 and I know she's wasting her time at school. I left school with nothing and was lucky. I would love to find something she's interested in and concentrate on that . But sadly she will do another 4 years at the muppit factory and fate may deal her a good had . But education and her lack of interest is not great imo

All you have to do now is admit you are wrong (clueless) about VAR and Southgate.I apologise , I got this wrong .
Anyway, tree surgeon mate said there’s no chance a 16 year old could do this by himself, the cut it made is too professional.
Speculation is the 16 year old is taking the blame for whoever else did it.
You could be right and I totally understand what you're saying. But she's not interested which obviously doesn't help. She has a friend who went to loreto in Altrincham who has always enjoyed school. I've not forced or pushed her so maybe it is my fault. I spent months during lock down doing maths but sadly she didn't take any of it on board. I've taught her respect and manners but ain't sure what school is going to give her .You talk about the apple not falling far from the tree. Perhaps you are proving your own point in that
it's your negative opinion of schools/education that is influencing her and helping develop a lack of interest in education.
Many tens of thousands of kids do learn a great deal in school. Sometimes parents have to take a look in the mirror instead of trying to lay the blame at the door of the education system.
Maybe it's the school. I absolutely hated my school, it was useless. I did well when I went to Technical College though. Proving (to myself) I wasn't really as thick as all that. You could be right and I totally understand what you're saying. But she's not interested which obviously doesn't help. I have put her in a Catholic school which I thought was better than the one I went to, even though I am not religious/Catholic. She's a good kid but she is not interested and I understand people having a opinion. The stories she tells me I know 100% that life skills and her future will not be determined in that school.Maybe it's the school. I absolutely hated my school, it was useless. I've was always jealous of kids I knew that went to good schools.
Yew wood think the copse or special branch wood have nailed someone for this by now!Judging by public sentiment, bamboo torture would be an appropriate punishment. A fiendishly ghastly way to go.
