Sylvinho (merged)

It's good for us because we have so much defensive cover, and also some quality academy youngsters

Right Back-Richards, Zabaleta, Onuoha, Logan, Trippier
Centre Back-Dunne, Toure, Lescott, Richards, Onuoha, Mee, McGivern, Kompany, Tal Ben Haim
Left Back-Bridge, Sylvinho, Garrido, Zabaleta, McGivern, Logan

Just like to pose a question. Would the ones who are praising this signing wholeheartedly have done the same if we'd have signed Salgado?
Salgado has no Prem experience, it makes a big difference.

Time to go and lynch that spursmad guy for lying to us! No more signings after Lescott!? This clearly proves that he is talking out of his ass.

*gets his coat*

Salgado is not the player he used to be 3-4 years ago. He is ok for a team like Blackburn.
As simple as that.

Sylvinho is still a good player for any important team.

It's a good point though. The Prem has changed an awful lot since Sylvinho was last here. I'm all for the signing by the way. It's risk free really.

Don't know why i wouldn't be as happy with Salgado. He's not Brazilian and he hasn't just played 90 mins in the Champs League final. That's all though.
