He may be old but would just be defensive cover. If he only plays a few matches he could be very useful defensive cover. He didn't look to bad against the rags in the CL final.

Good free signing. Probably good to have another Brazilian around if it's what Robbie likes, although I don't buy the whole 'Robinho needs friends' thing, he seems to always be smiling regardless, look at the video on the OS t'other day for example.

Good addition. I've seen a few people talk about how we should have signed a young player but Sylvinho gives us a year to weigh up some options and check on Zander's progress this time next year.

So, what are we expecting for him wage wise? Would be interesting to find out how much he's on.
He's probably come in to play in the Carling Cup games, to keep our new diamond, Bridge, fit for the Prem season. It's really cool that we are signing players up with the thoughts that they could win us the Carling Cup.
