I don't know, I'd never actively try and get it going but I've never felt clapping to be that much of a difficult thing to do, so if it creates a special moment for the family of someone who has died and makes them feel even a little bit better at a tough time, then I don't really care if I have to hit my hands together a few times.

Everyone dies eventually, I have no idea why they need applause for doing just that though.
If they do one for you, I don't have a problem giving you a clap!

should do a minute montage before every match with a clap , ex legends/staff/fans etc

Its all not for me. Every football match is like going to a funeral at the minute.
Silences, claps, black arm bands etc... Its now like each club are trying to out do each other who is the most sympathetic to death.

Agree, but when was the last time this actually happened.
Barely a game goes by these days without me asking the guys "What're we clapping for?" The reply is "I dunno!"
