Erdoğan will be loving all this, Trump loves him apparently and is not over keen on Bibi like I have said before the real victors in all of this are Turkey and Qatar, the losers are Israel because to have a large country backed by a stronger military power who really dislikes you is not ideal they can't bully Turkey (and the country will be full of Turkish military at the moment) , The Kurds because the best they can hope for is to be a semi autonomous part of a federal Syria no chance of a state (which is unfortunate because I believe all people should have a state) Obviously the Iranians who have proved to be a paper Tiger (and also have a restive population who will be seeing what is happening in Syria) unfortunately the Ayatollahs have also got considerable support especially in the more rural areas

I don't know what's going to shake down in Syria hopefully it's a fairly peaceful transition, it's a hell of a challenge to build a civil society from virtual scratch they are going to need money and lots of it and proper advice just don't ask the Americans they really fucked up in Iraq

I've just searched your posts in the Russia/Ukraine thread. Just six posts and nothing whatsoever for 18 months. No foaming at the mouth about one sovereign state invading another without a plausible pretext, and one that is deliberately and indiscriminately targeting and killing civilians. There not even a condemnation of the invasion from you.

So why are you so hostile to Israel, yet not to Russia? Why are the lives of Ukrainians seemingly less important to you than those of Palestinians? There's few others I could ask the same questions of as well.
