Both are top quality and an improvement on what we have so there's no gamble (other than fitness) involved.

Cahill and Arteta for money and Ireland. Not unrealistic if you ask me.

there's just this ridiculous gap in the middle when you guys play. creativity is lacking big time, if you had that 1 maestro to control the middle (sneijder, fabregas etc) with all the strikers you have, i definitely think you'd be a hard team to beat.

Ireland has the talent to play that role BUT he is just sat in midfield breaking things up,if he has been told to do this then i feel it's a waste of his talent.
On the flipside you have to at least put the effort in wherever you play & he is not doing that.
I fuckin love the way you play btw.

Said the other day I would deffo have Cahill, really good, skillful consistent player, I would also take Rodwell.
As for the lad before saying Arteta can't stay healthy, that's his first long term out since joining them, thought he was quality way back when he played for Rangers.

Arteta should have sent off or at least booked,just because they beat us doesn't mean they are better..........it just means the ref was shite,the goalkeeper shoud NOT have been on the pitch after his fouls on Tevez.

I'll happily take their best players every summer to be honest. It's funny.
