Yes the logical next step for these rodents...

1. You may have gotten rich owners but they will pull out in 2 years and it'll end in tears.
2. You may have lots of money but won't be able to attract the best players to match the top teams because you have no history/tradition.
3. You may have some good players but will never get 4th place with this bunch of mercenaries.
4. You may have gotten 4th place but you'll win nothing.
5. You may have bought the FA Cup but its one tinpot trophy.
6. You may have gotten 4th place and won the FA Cup but you'll never win the league.
7. You may be on course to win the league but it'll mean nothing because you bought it. <--- We are here
8. You may have won the league but it was a hollow success and means nothing
9. You may have reached the Champions League semis this year but that is as far as you'll get.
10. You may have won the Champions League but it means noth... *gunshot*

Maybe if we followed the Rags method of using home grown Mancunian players (e.g. Rooney, Smalling, Jones, de Gea and, of course Javier Hernandez) then it would, but spending a whole £25m more than them on our match-day squad for yesterdays derby proves any success will be shallow, hollow and worthless.

Plus we're not even playing attractive football. We're getting the first goal in a match, parking the titanic, and clinging on to scrape 6-1 wins. Sooooo negative.
