Can't believe I'm doing this, but here goes...

Davey is a very well accepted shorthand for David and used extensively in Glasgow, as I found when I lived there for a shirt while. As both men are Gladwegians, it's not surprising in the least to hear Brazil call him Davey, no matter how annoying it may seem.

As for the rag wankfest, think of it this way... For 25 years they've had truculence and contempt from a man who wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire in terms of rag manager coverage. By being nice to Davey, they no doubt expect a period of McGlasnost from the rags and in turn all that brings. Call it relationship building if you like.

Just been listening to drive time and they are so predictable. A Spuds fan came on and said he felt that the Spanish league will be pants this coming season, as he feels the best players have left, he even named them and we have two of the players mentioned, however talkshite could not bring themselves to comment on the City signings and seem to avoided any conversation regarding us like the plague, unless it’s negative of course. So funny talkshite should be primetime viewing. The TOSSERS.
