Ferguson has spent £750M since he's been at United? Really? Is that an accurate figure? If so, why is it never quoted by the Media (who seem happy to perpetuate the "United Home-Grown Talent" myth...)?

listened to the whole programe, it was like good cop bad cop routine, one was saying :do you think it is bad for football that man city have quarter of a billion pounds to spend on players at the end of the season thus giving city an unfair advantage to win things: the other was saying :well i think it is because it makes it more open and breaks up the current four club monopoly? when the phone calls came in they started on the city fans are paranoid ie that everytime anybody say,s anything about city their fans pick up the phone straight away and accuse them of having an anti man city agenda? basically they want us to finish 5th, untill a city fan advised them that finishing 5th will make city spend more to break in next season and what is the problem with city trying to fetch great talent into the country, what they did then was filter the subject into anothe,r reallising they wern,t getting the reaction they wanted?

The problem is that this is a national station and has an apparent audience of around 3 million listeners.

To write them off as "dicks" is sadly naive.People in other parts of the country listen to what they say about City and take it as "fact" to base their own already misinformed tabloid opinions on.

Their campaign of disinformation and attempts to twist any knife they can continues apace.Danny Kelly is a self-confessed spurs fan-and guess what?

He uses his show to attack City when we're head to head with them.

When a guy phoned the same show to tell them that the Sheik was in the process of redeveloping the land around the stadium,about how the facilities are available to the local community,and about how it will create thousands of jobs they just didn't want to know.

They have their agenda.They're absolutely gagging for us to stay out of the top four.


The only time we seem to get any sort of media balance is when someone like Franny or Summerbee gives a bit out to Keays etc.
