Totally agree with this. There are millions of football fans in this country and in my experience only a minority of them are morons yet this is the audience Talksport chases. We are starved of intelligent football coverage in this country. Talksport has a market share of less than 2pc of all Radio listeners (not just sports fans) which means it is performing terribly despite its grandiose claims. BBC Radio Five Live is also struggling with its latest figures well down. This suggests that football fans are just switching off in droves.

I only listen to him because of his soft spot for us and the fact he is on when I am driving home. I remember once he spoke of having a Man City mate at uni who took him to some games, I think that explains a lot. It makes you think that if more presenters took the time to get to know us as a club they would focus less on our money and more on the hypocrisy of others.
