Talksport

For my sins I have talksport on, Jim White & Simon Jordan, and the question they are asking is what punishment should utd get for what happened?
Jim White hasn't said it yet but he's on the verge of saying a points deduction and Simon Jordan is umming and arring.

Might be lively half hour phone in.

Personally I think a points deduction to stop future protests that turn ugly.

Jim White just said a points deduction.

The woman presenter this morning was banging on about how good she thought Poch was.

Then she interviewed a Norwich player who played when they beat us 3-2 a couple of seasons ago, as someone who knew how to beat us. On the day we play in the CL semi-final, she wanted to talk about beating us.

Thanks for your support you twat. I'm sure you'll be doing the same when Rags and Dippers play

Here's the thing. They want the Glazers to spend more on players. They want the Glazers to spend money making the stadium fit for human habitation. They want the Glazers to spend money redeveloping the land around the stadium. They want the Glazers to pay off the debt.

Now put that another way. Imagine saying "I'd like to go on a big expensive holiday. I'd like a fancy new car. I'd like to move to a nice house in the country. I'd also like to pay off the thousands I owe in loans, credit cards and overdrafts".
Does make you wonder whether the attitude would be the same if United were taken over by a Manchester based businessman who was a lifelong red but did exactly the same in terms of leveraging and taking profit.

For the first 8 years of the Glazers' tenure they won the premier league 5 times and the champions league once. We never heard Ferguson complain that he wasn't getting the financial support he needed, and since Ferguson retired they've allowed his successors (all managers that the fans were happy with) to spend a fortune. Not the Glazers' fault that the post Fergie managers have failed in general (although they have won three trophies since 2013).

Dare I say there may be a bit of prejudice for some reason?

Anti-American I assume you mean? ;-)

To be fair, there's as much prejudice against our owners, if not more.

Spot on, been thinking the same but couldn't have written it so well.
It's all down to our success.
