Exactly. It's not a coincidence that we were also heavily linked with a lot of their star players. I have no doubt Sanchez, Pogba or Maguire for us would have been great. And what about the waste of money on Lukaku? He did well for them but they still fucked him off at the first sign of a dry patch.

In contrast, how many players have we given a season to get up to speed with the way we play? Rodri, Bernardo, Cancelo, Zinchenko, Mahrez, all key players now because we didn't immediately write them off.
