Talksport

I quite enjoy it as long as you don't take it too seriously.

It's nice to have a dedicated sports radio station with so much football on TV there is still room for radio when people are working nights coming home from work for example.

A positive post for once.

Did anyone get to hear the interview with John Amaechi (NBA Basketball player who was raised in Stockport) with Colin Murray? A great listen and a great inspiration. He came across a down to earth guy who chased his dream and never let setbacks get in the way of his desire to make it as a NBA superstar. He even turned down a once in a life time opportunity to join LA Lakers for a 17 million dollar contract, out of principle in owing a huge debt to Oakland who took a punt on him when no one else were willing to snap him up. I recommend downloading the interview if you can and I think Ill buy his book after hearing this.

We might as well not bother turning up on Sunday according to these clowns, Gough is loving it, Durham has never heard of FFP

Did you really expect anything else?

I'm sure the Drivetime show has very few City fans who ring in, so the script-writers try every bit of WUMmery to incite Blues to ring in.

I stuck it out until the first crowing southern rag phoned in then it was off

I agree, we have a radio on loud speakers at work, after hearing Uptown Funk for the 17th time today, I prefer a bit of talking now & again

Five Live.

This thread seems to be dying on its feet, after many years of this stations attempts in insulting and outright condemnation of our club
it seems to have finally sunk home that we as a collective fan base treat it with the contempt it deserves and ignore it.
Stopped listening some years back apart from the two Mikes after 1 am now and again.
Trash radio in its most basic format
So glad the posts and therefore our interest have dramatically decreased , its southern based biased nonsense addicted to the old top four. Staffed by ego driven buffoons, self opinionated shallow creatures angling for the next freebie, also rans and no nothings, wretched station relying on funding through morons ringing for attention and advertisers trying to influence half wits.
Carry on Blues, treat it with contempt
They need us we do not need them
