He recently argued that there is no institutional racism in this Country, does that strike you as the view of an intelligent man.

Compared to the 60’s and 70’s the institutional racism is far less now. You’ll never get rid of racism, like other crimes it’s here to stay but it’s a lot better than it used be. Mrs H close friend is an Asian girl, Sadna, brought up in this Country by her Indian parents, she’s very proud to say she’s never been racially abused and she celebrated her 56th birthday last week.

I did that a long time ago with Sky Sports News, Sky Sports Football, BT Football, Talk Shite, Match Of The Day, the MUEN, etc. And I haven’t looked back since. And in doing so I’ve saved myself well over £1000 a year in subscription fees. Once you get over the initial trauma of missing those football media outlets, it becomes a breeze. And there are always alternative football media outlets. And Blue Moon of course.

It is so long ago I can not recall what it was about. Just know that he claimed to be at some game when he actually was in Essex playing cricket. The clever buggers on here picked up on it and let the radio station know.

P.S. - Just checked and it was the assault by Keane on Haarland in April 2001, Irani was playing for Essex at Leicester. He claimed he was at the football, idiot.
