The cholera isn't the problem though. It's the dysentry that does the damage.

My mate spent two years in India and came back with the dysentry. He went from 16 stone to 11 stone in about 18 months. When he got back home and was under medication, he had to take some stuff that made him fart all day long. It was rancid, trust me. He also had to keep test tubes in his fridge with his own turds in them so he could deliver them fresh to his local clinic regularly for testing. Not what you want to see when you go to pull out another Stella.
