Not going to make any grand claims for him but he has impressed me every time he has played.

he looks like he has the talent + physicality we need. He won his first six ariel challenges yesterday. Shame he got done for their goal but he should learn from that.

He looks the business. As many have mentioned, a loan deal will help rid some the rawness and build experience.

He did get outfoxed for the goal, but he is the best centre half prospect I have ever seen come through our youth system. As for the Oxford goal; there were balloons on the pitch, the free kick was taken from the wrong place, the ball was moving and the referee hadn't blown his whistle. But apart from that I can't complain.

Meh, I don't mind any of that. If you're fouled it's supposed to be your advantage. There's nothing more annoying than a player thinking quick to catch the opposition out only to have it brought back because the referee wasn't ready or it was quite taken from the right position.

Could have done better on their goal, but apart from that it was a flawless performance. Dealt very well with a very physical striker and won most of his duels. Still only 17, has world class potential

Played well enough apart from losing Pope on the goal but for me a half decent keeper saves it anyway.

Thought he got better as the game went on. Certainly not afraid to be out there and showed he is not afraid to mix it with the opposition forwards.
