Taylor Harwood-Bellis - move to Southampton completed.

It will be a little bit ironic if he moves on loan to Stoke given that he turned down another year at Blackburn before the loan move to Anderlecht. I guess the lure of playing for Vinnie was strong but maybe the wrong choice in retrospect.

Stoke would be a good option for the second half of the season with the chance of grabbing a play-off spot.

Yes, the lure of playing for his Captain must have been very strong, shame it hasn't worked out but VK has been under pressure himself to get results, so maybe he isn't the guy to blood our youth, unlike the legion of ex rags who were willing to do anything the devil wanted.

I think it's far better for players and clubs to be honest with each other and not waste their respective time. After all, there is little point staying abroad for an entire season when there is little prospect of breaking back into the side again (see Harwood-Bellis and Doyle). They're unlikely to spend their careers abroad, anyway, so far better that they get a taste of it, even if brief, and come back hungry to succeed. And just because they return early shouldn't lead us to conclude that something has necessarily gone wrong.

Thanks for the update. What do you think went wrong for THB at Anderlecht?
Not wanting to offend but he looked very good in the Championship for Blackburn last season which I thought would be a higher standard than Belgium - I may well be wrong about that.
Gave away a pen, late in the game against Antwerp, and then the pairing at CB has been undefeated and played every game since. Bit unlucky really.

Any half decent side in the championship is going to be a productive loan, not just for THB but for Doyle, Mcatee and many others if they're able to get minutes there.

I liked him at The start, and I think Vinny did to.

But our defense wasnt reliable The period he started. And that wasnt his fault. The whole team was adapting to the challenging system Kompany was implenting, our right wingback Murillo was strugling with mental issues and played really bad. THB Made some mistakes, and Magallan got his chances. At that moment our other central defender Wesley Hoedt started plating better, being more compatible with Magallan. And Murillo got his shit back together and started plating better.

THB is a big talent. But he is still only a loanie with limited experience. So this is a good sollution for al parties. Really hope to see this one in The first team of City in a couple of years.

Thank you. Please keep posting updates about Anderlecht and Kompany - I enjoy reading about how you think he is doing as a manager.
