Taylor Swift Era's

Might need your eyes tested. She's a tall slim blonde in her mid thirties who passes for a woman ten years younger.

She's objectively attractive by most metrics.
As I referred to in my post, there's millions out there who'd strongly disagree with my view. So be it. I don't claim to be right. It's just an opinion, not a statement of fact.

And, as they (yep; them again) say; beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I'm a 59 year old bloke whose listening includes a lot of Americana style relationship based female songwriters (e.g. Lizzie McAlpine, Gracie Abrams, Jess Williamson).

Love the Billie Eilish and Olivia records, really struggle with Taylor's stuff, bar the ambient lockdown records, but huge admiration for her personally.

Also see she's doing Springsteen length 3hr+ shows. Not for me, I saw the wonderful Bess Atwell at Band on the Wall last week. All done in 50 minutes !
Kathleen Edwards?

Exactly. That's why I suggested a visit to Specsavers:)

Her lyrics have all the feeling of a tweet or an instagram post. It's invariably so inward looking that I'm surprised she doesn't implode when putting pen to paper.

My daughter (10) loves her. Can’t see much to be negative about tbh. Her stuff is better than the Liam Gallagher nonsense. She’s a lot more than polite as well.

I went last night in Edinburgh with my Fiancée and it was very, very good to be fair.

I quite like some of her songs but wouldn't claim to be her biggest fan, but I was impressed with the energy and she put on a good show.

She was on for 3 hours and 15 mins and there wasn't really any lulls. Don't think there is anyone else out there aside from Bruce doing that, and not many would have the back catalogue anyway.

I can't quite believe the effect she has on some of the women there (and occasional bloke). They were literally crying in amazement and screaming so loudly - my ears are still ringing and I'd consider myself a seasoned gig-goer (normally to different music style).

Never seen an entire crowd sing every single song so passionately. Normally you get your most passionate die hards down at the front and then everyone else gets up and sings along to the big hits at the end, but it was just the entire stadium constantly.

Would recommend.

I’ve never got that screaming and crying, it always fascinating to see old Beatle footage, if they asked a lot of those girls what was the music like live they’d have literally no idea.
