Chelsea played in the same way last season though and they won the league!

The width should be provided by the fullbacks, hence why we should probably replace Bridge (and possibly get another right-back in aswell as I don't know how good Boateng is going forward).

My mouth is watering at the prospect of this line up, I'm more excited than my 10 yr old who has his 1st season ticket this season, who obviously wouldn't know of the bleak years we have had to endure, during the rag domination (hate to say it).

Ozil is a diving cheat but a good player, if we could kick the cheating out of him I'd have him here no probs. Gourcuff on the other hand is not good in my eyes. He's slow of thought and would be close to useless in the Prem. Better suited to the Italian league where he'd have more time on the ball.

all the best formations posted involve maybe one striker , well the effective ones at least . But who would play , tevez surely but i dont think he's physical enough up there by himself . I can't see mancini getting rid of the wingers and i think it will be

this could be close to it in a home game against lesser opposition but in other games I think we could see both Barry and NDJ playing and not AJ; also this assumes no Milner, Torres, left back
