They say Norrie plays brilliantly in practice but struggles to bring his ‘A’ game onto the match court. I felt he missed a few chances but Alcaraz was well ahead.Alcaraz just on another level in that QF. Norrie had a chance in the second game with 3 break points, but don’t think that would have changed the outcome, Alcaraz just too good.
Norrie can be very happy with his tournament though, hopefully he can maintain this improved level and get close to the top 20 again.
