Raducanu wins again. Her comeback has momentum. Much more consistent than her previous match. Some serious serves with a new action and ground strokes going well.

I was going to have it on in the background as I’m working from home today. Completely forgot.

Glad she won nevertheless.

My one and only post on Tennis, it's mainly supported by a bunch of twee cunts, absolutely detest it, however, I used to play and really enjoyed the game but as a spectator sport it's utterly wank and I won't waste my life watching it.

Brilliant semi suspended for rain.
Emma Raducanu leads Katie Boulter after one set of a great game.
Boulter serving superbly, Raducanu replying with some excellent ground strokes. 20 plus points in the tie break. The winner will have to play the final after the second set or even the third. Worth a watch.

Resumption happening soon, just going through their warm-up now. Winner plays Pliskova in the final later on.

Decent showing from both Boulter and Raducanu. The latter has still some way to go to re-establish herself in the higher ranks.

What kind of crazy shit is it that after that Boulter is now expected to play the final?

It’s not the US Open or Wimbledon ffs, with massive tv coverage etc. And even those tournaments in the past have rolled finals over to the Monday due to weather.

Bananas, nuts etc.

I suspect this Raducanu - Boulter match will be very long!

it was over when Raducanu slipped and injured herself last night, Boulter won the next 2 sets today.
Will Raducanu will now pull out of Wimbledon,

What is it with her, Raducanu will not play through the pain barrier, Where has the fight gone from her? Even so many coaches have had battles with her because of so-called injuries and not playing through the littlest pain or blisters.
She got her money from one winning one tournament? and that's it,

I also heard she's turned down the GB Olympics team ??

Today Raducanu beat the world number 5, saving a match point along the way.
In terms of her opponents’ ranking, this is the best win of her career. Her opponent won the Berlin open last week. She is now in the last 8 of Bournemouth, a high class tournament. Not bad for someone who, until last week, had not played on grass for 18 months. Your post looks even more inaccurate now, especially considering wrist surgery has finished many young players.
3 Brits in the last eight here for the first time.

Until she wins another major then all the coaches she has gone through are spot-on, When the going gets tough she will pull up, Many of the top tennis players play with pain and have operations for all sorts of things, I think it's a mental block with her after winning the US Open at that early stage of her career, She went downhill fast and troubles with many coaches says something was not right.

Once you win a major the hardest part is to repeat it, Doing the long yards fitness-wise and putting in the training and the hours and hours of hitting needs 100% dedication away from the lifestyle

Warm-up tournaments mean nothing really, all they are used for is playing time on grass for timing, Last week's loss in the final at Nottingham was down to a slip ?? 1 set up then play suspended and the next day taped up knee lost 2 sets and the final,

She needs to either want it and put in the hard yards or leave tennis for a lifestyle and live on winning the US Open, My bet is the 2nd option
