You need to contact the Canadian authorities to see if they will allow a used tent in because of contamination.
Friends of mine sold their's before they emigrated to Australia because if it was deemed to be contaminated (mud or grass anywhere) then they would have had to make a decision of having it destroyed or disinfected at far more than the tent was worth
