You would expect it comes under terrorism as defined by the law, as it is an attack on a form of infrastructure, if Kent police are deciding not to treat it as such they are failing to uphold the law correctly and doing sp encourages copycat attacks. If this were done by a brown may say hurling petrol bombs at an HMP then driving off and killing himself that would be a terrorist suicide bomber. In this case its not - wonder what the difference is? Sir Roger Gale says it was someone suffering "severe mental health issues" - I can't say I believe he would have been informed of the mental health of a man who lived over a hundred miles away from his constituency. Furthermore it seems to have been hardly reported on tomorrows front pages. Is there an awkward truth behind all this?

right wing extremism is the second highest number of police investigations and arrest made in this country under terrorism laws, but unless it's a high profile event seems to get little or no coverage.
