Hello all.

Never one to rest, I'm working on a new book already and I'm trying to track down the above two players.

However, I'm getting absolutely nowhere and they seem to have lost touch with everybody I've tried since finishing their playing careers.

Long shot, I know, but would anybody have any leads as to where they are/what they're doing these days?

Thanks
David

Vaughan plays golf with my mate I think , his family still live in Stretford

Cooke then joined Gabala of Azerbaijan, managed by Tony Adams.[8] After making 12 appearances in which he scored one goal, Cooke then suffered a serious knee injury which kept him out for the remainder of the season, at the end of which he was released by the club.[9]

International Representative - Terry Cooke
Born in Birmingham England, Terry started his professional soccer career at the age of 15 for Manchester United F.C. Terry was 19 years old when he made is professional debut with Manchester United against Bolton Wanderers back in 1995 at Old Trafford. He would make his mark on his debut, assisting a goal for Ryan Giggs and claiming the man of the match award in a 3-0 victory against Bolton Wanderers. After 7 years at Manchester United, Terry then moved to the blue side of town, signing for Manchester City F.C for a transfer fee of £1.2m. He would be the third player in over 100 years, to ever move directly between the two Manchester teams. Terry helped Manchester City secure back to back promotions which helped them get back into the Premiership. He would then have spells at Grimsby Town F.C and Sheffield Wednesday F.C.

In 2005 Terry would make the decision to cross the pond where he would eventually join up with the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. With his willingness to help and make others better around him, he would soon establish himself as a fan favorite and also one of the best assist players in the league. Terry made over 100 appearances for Colorado Rapids before moving to Australia to play for North Queensland Fury of the Hyundai A-League.

Having played on 3 continents at the highest level, Terry's playing career spanned almost twenty years. He brings a mass of experience to First Wave Sports.
With Terry' s knowledge of the game and approachability, he identifies well with players, and with his wide contact base, he becomes a valuable asset to the company.

Terry now resides in Denver Colorado.

Are you on twitter?
Ian Cheeseman is on there and he did an interview with Tony V not so long ago for GMR that was on blue Tuesday. He may be able to help

Terry Cooke was last spotted playing for a club Azerbaijan if that helps.

I'm a site manager for a construction company and 2 year ago tony was on my site working for a floor screeding company, wheeling barrow loads all day! Fair play to him he loved it and said he'd been doing it for a while. He is a cracking lad and really down to earth, told him I'd spent a fortune watching the shite we turned out every week back in the day and he said sorry lol. On a side note was working in huyton a few year ago and bumped into Steve Redmond. He was a delivery driver for travis perkins, he's a top lad and still has a massive soft spot for us

Ha! I was just thinking I'm not sure I could face reading this book, bring back too many bad memories!

Saw tony vaughan in telco in Stretford a month ago. Always came across as a cock to me. Heard he had a butty van in Trafford park. Didnt seem skint. He had a fit misses and a 4 x 4. Isn't he a big rag though?

I was at that game. Bloke next to me sang "your stadium lacks atmosphere" over and over and over again for about 50 minutes in a deadpan tone! We won 3-1 or 3-0.

Saw his debut at Blackpool in a pre season friendly. Knew we'd bought a dud from the off!
