Tevéz: Man of the Match...?

Re: Tevéz: Man of the Match...?

De Jong or Bellamy for me.

Dont think Petrov was as good as people are making out but he did pretty good.

Re: Tevéz: Man of the Match...?

Toure for me , the number of interceptions he did got boring after a while. NDJ is so destructive and in tight games will be indispensable. I think in 'easier' games Vinnie may get the nod as he has the height to nullify long balls from the back.
How good was it to have a professional right back today?
MOM = Kolo NB= Zabba

i agree, had a great 1st half but average 2nd. De jong was good through out the game though

Re: Tevéz: Man of the Match...?

Fuck me talk about splitting hairs, why don't we argue about who gave the best throw in? Yes de Jong would have shaded MOM for me, but Tevez got the 2 goals that won us the game against his own club, give the guy credit for it

Re: Tevéz: Man of the Match...?

west ham are a lot better than they were.parker is a good player and makes them tick and cole has vastly improved.m.o.m has got to be pab.for the simple reason he was full of energy,up and down, tackled like a demon and made us look a more solid at the back.plus full backs never get m.o.m

no i never said no one played well all i said was they did no more than they had to

... But not one City player deserved to be MotM of the whole game, never mind out of the City team?

Seriously, can I have one o' them smokes...?
No you cant as I only have 1 left and I am slipping that into Alex Ferguson’s tea tomorrow. As for man of the match for me no one stood out but the ref had a good game

Re: Tevéz: Man of the Match...?

de Jong made it look easy, stuck to the simple things and came out looking world class!

Whole team played well although SWP was not at his best!

It IS splitting hairs to some degree and BOTH won us the game.

I prefer to pick Nige cos he constantly bailed out the right, middle and left defence, cutting out attacks with perfectly time interceptions and tackles.

Sorry, but it's true.
