If push came to shove I'd pick Nige too, absolutely fantastic he was.
If Tevez was on a perfect day he would have had 4 goals. I mean that in a compliment in that he's always a threat and gets into so many goalscoring positions

It IS splitting hairs to some degree and BOTH won us the game.

Petrov (coz he actually ran back as well), NDJ, Bellamy, Toure, Tevez is how i would have it. Tevez could have done much better

Do you know, loads of Plastics I know have told me Tevéz wouldn't score 5, this season. he's scored 3, so far. I had a wager he would get 15.

I would have said you were silly at the time, I still think it might be just too many now, but he's on the right track and if it's in all comps he might scrape it IMO

Nige had a great game, perhaps better than Barry tonight. A team like WH do try to play football and NDJ was the perfect foil for their game plan, well done MH. Bellers was on fire equally so was Carlos, the commitment is there for all to see. The papers will big (sorry bigga) this up but it was plain to see.
The backs looked comfortable, Zabba needs not to dive in quite so much. Games against the sky 4 will mean he gets booked too regularily to play the majority of games. Swep attacking with pace Carlos coming deep Bellers roasting left backs right backs et al was a joy to watch.
Great game, great result. With Robbie and ade to come back the future is bright.

Tevez was superb tonight, not just the 2 goals and the 4 or 5 other attempts but also that he never gave possession away all night - would love to dig the thread up from the other day when people were saying "Tevez is ordinary...blah blah fucking blah".
Yes, De Jong was magnificent AGAIN but when you consider on another day Carlos could have scored 5 or 6 then he quite rightly deserves MOTM.
