Don’t know who I would give man of the match to if being a mouth was part of the criteria then Bellamy would get it. For me it was a lack of effort from most of the team. Yes they won 3-1 and seemed happy to settle for that when it could have been more when it should have been more.
I would and we all should ask where is the effort and commitment shown just a few weeks ago when we played Man United. EXCUSE ME WHILE I SPIT.
No there was no man of the match at tonight’s game it was a win but it should have been more.
It seems they read the paper telling us that if they scored 3 goals they would be back above Arsenal they just seemed to settle for that.
Bellamy will find his mouth will get him into trouble within t he next few weeks and dhow he’s been the wroth wilder he has to learn to shut his gob.
It was good to see Rocky and Johnson take to the field of play at last but needs more time for both of them.
The defence looked a little patchy at times and got away with some stuff that they would not get away with playing a better team than West Ham showed of themselves to night.

A little more of the passion and commitment showed when playing Man United. Spits again sorry. Today’s result for a team of its quality was mediocre.
Yes it was a win and 3 points
But this year’s league and I want you to remember these words.
(Don’t be surprised if the league is won and only down to goal difference)
tonight’s performance did what they had to no more no less

This has got to be the worse post ever on Bluemoon!! I suggest you leave the drugs alone mate and get back to reality.

The team ran their socks off and played some great attacking stuff tonight, and please don't give me that shit that West Ham where poor. Spuds and Liverpool only beat them by the odd goal this season.

For me De Jong edged Tevez has MOM with Zabaleta not far behind. But overall it was a good team performance.

One problem for NDJ is not of his own making, its referees trying to outlaw tackling. I have seen him win tackles cleanly recently and the ref blows. Its shit. A good tackle is as pleasing as a good pass

Fooking 'A'.

Sometimes refs are too thick to see an excellent tackle!

for a short guy the guy can win headers all day too. I was pissed off with foy every minute that went buy i was waiting for him to blow for a pen or a red.

Zabba was faultless. De Jong broke things up wonderfully, he tackles like a bull.

But for me the top dog was once again Bellers. The bloke's work-rate is phenomenal. Tracking back into the 93rd minute, chasing lost causes all game at full tilt and generally being a pest. He's like Vassell but stronger, faster, better on the ball...okay he's nothing like Vassell. I love the guy.
saved me typin....i concur fully !

Re: Tevéz: Man of the Match...?

Think Tevez deserved it he linked the play superbly, looks good dropping deep he looked like a different player tonight.
De jong immense best defensive midfielder in the league by a mile. Toure superb ,Lescot did very well looking better all the time. Seany looks a bit star struck needs to concentrate but will be fine ,and bellamy what can i say get in there bellers .Petrov great game but missed a sitter at the end with his club foot ,but great football tonight pleasure to watch ,let the good times roll.

Re: Tevéz: Man of the Match...?

de jong, every thing he did he was imense. wot a guy, he will be the nuclues 2 the team. but well underestimated

Thought some of Petrovs passing today was world class

I thought SWPs cross field balls to Petrov were bordering on word class tonight. He played an excellent game.

Agree with NDJ as MOM though, he broke down absolutely everything before it had chance to get going.
