Tevéz: Man of the Match...?

Re: Tevéz: Man of the Match...?

De Jong was the best player on the pitch by a country mile. Was simply immense in the middle of the park!

Re: Tevéz: Man of the Match...?

So the big question has to be - who does Hughes pick for next Monday? If Ade's not banned, Rocky's fit, Bellers & Tevez both playing their little blue socks off, SWP, Superman, Barry all with a chance, NDJ or Vinnie & not forgetting Robbie??????

Who would of thought we'd be in this position 18 or even 12 months ago? Not me!!!

The mind boggles, doesn't it?? However, Rocky's not match fit and probably replace Ade(the 3 match suspension is up now, right?) late in the 2nd half. Vinnie not match fit, Johnno not, Sooperman recovering...

Makes the choice easy for now.

Re: Tevéz: Man of the Match...?

Don’t know who I would give man of the match to if being a mouth was part of the criteria then Bellamy would get it. For me it was a lack of effort from most of the team. Yes they won 3-1 and seemed happy to settle for that when it could have been more when it should have been more.
I would and we all should ask where is the effort and commitment shown just a few weeks ago when we played Man United. EXCUSE ME WHILE I SPIT.
No there was no man of the match at tonight’s game it was a win but it should have been more.
It seems they read the paper telling us that if they scored 3 goals they would be back above Arsenal they just seemed to settle for that.
Bellamy will find his mouth will get him into trouble within t he next few weeks and dhow he’s been the wroth wilder he has to learn to shut his gob.
It was good to see Rocky and Johnson take to the field of play at last but needs more time for both of them.
The defence looked a little patchy at times and got away with some stuff that they would not get away with playing a better team than West Ham showed of themselves to night.

A little more of the passion and commitment showed when playing Man United. Spits again sorry. Today’s result for a team of its quality was mediocre.
Yes it was a win and 3 points
But this year’s league and I want you to remember these words.
(Don’t be surprised if the league is won and only down to goal difference)
tonight’s performance did what they had to no more no less

Re: Tevéz: Man of the Match...?

I think our beloved FA have until 6pm Thursday to decide if Ade gets a ban for his understated celebration against Arsenal (where did the time go??) so Ade playing is still not a dead cert but I'm not 100%.

Please tell me I'm wrong?
