So if its a straight choice between Mancini and Tevez, I would send Tevez packing.

I do get a feeling though that Tevez or not, Mancini is going to be allowed an open cheque book this summer. I think that if we were buzzing last summer, it will pail into insignificance compared to this summer. Or so You've heard, from the gutter press no doubt. Can you list direct quotes from players other than Robinho, where they specifically state they are unhappy and want to leave?

Read "Its in the Blood"'s post a page or so earlier, and it will give you an insight into how this countries wonderful press create a problem where there isn't one. I sometimes have to work annualised hours when we're busy. Occasionally this inconveniences me and I may have a moan about it. Doesn't mean I hate my boss or I want to change my job though.

Until I see a tv interview and actually see the words "I am unhappy at Man City and I want to Leave" or "I will stay at Man City only if they sack that c**t Mancini" leave Carlos's (or for that matter any senior pro's) mouth, I will treat these latest "revelations" with the contempt they most probably deserve.

The club and the fans will always be around. The others wil come and go.

That's right about the club and fans but buying a player like Tevez sent out a signal to the rest of the football world and letting him go in faqvour of an decent but average manager would send an entirely negative signal.

If it was a real top rank manager like Mourinho or Van Gaal then fair enough but I would suggest Tevez is far more important to us at this stage than Mancini. And what if it's more players than Tevez? and what if these stories are being planted to lay the groundwork for Mancini's departure?

There have been cliques in the dressing room for as long as I can remember.

Sven had problems. Hughes and now Mancini.

It is a symptom of an unsuccessful club. It is not the cause. However if the symptom is not treated then it can hinder recovery.

Mancini will realise that the only escape from this cycle is to win something. Forge his own authority. However in the meantime the most disruptive influences will be moved on.
