Tevez can go if he isnt happy - Mancini

Custis all over this today,

says Tevez has had a 'decent season of scoring a few goals' but has 'never looked happy since Mancini came in' despite having 'reasonable rapport with the fans'

Obvious attempt to turn the fans against our top player at a crucial time in our season. Not saying there isn't an issue but it's being blown way out of proportion.

Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

haha..... I like Mancini's comment about Real. I get it now. He's saying, if you want to leave, Real is the only option.... and if you don't get us into the top four, I'll end up there too, see how you like them apples. ;)

So Carlos, whats it like working with Mancini?
"Different we sometimes train twice a day in the first few weeks which was tiring."
So you dont like training like this?
"No, I feel it effected my game at first because I was tired during the games but, after a few weeks it helped my stamina"
Did you get on well with Mark Hughes?
"Yes he was a good man and I thought we were doing alright with him and maybe he was sacked a bit early and replaced by Mancini. It never helps halfway through a season"

Ok, three questions, three answers. Now 1 Reporter writes.

"Mancini is having us train twice a day and this is effecting me, I am too tired to play. City should have kept Mark Hughes he was sacked to early, Mancini has come in and we didnt need him."

Now that was easy wasnt it.

Just over a week to go till the end of a season that with 3 games to go we have qualified for a european comp with 3 games to go. Who wouldnt like to be in Fulhams shoes this morning??? Get behind the team and manager.

When you actually see/hear Carlos on TV or in person say that he wants out or a change in manager, dont believe a word.

i personally dont believe half of the gumfff that the papers say but its not good for citys image that all the storys are getting to the media.

on aanother hand if they wasn't true then city should have a press conference stating the truth and to my recognition they havent.

not sure what to think ?? £47 mil for tevez 28 mil for ade cant see them only playing 1 season not sure if SWP is gonna stay and micar has all ways been touted for the gooners

He looked so unhappy when he scored against the Brummies didn't he? His suppposed comments were made before that !!

I can just see the scenario now

Jurno What do you make of the CT comments.

Mancini If he aint happy he can go.

What is really wrong with that? I also see that Mancini has had Sven at the training ground the last couple of days, (from the Fulop Pics) now his training methods were apparently to lax !!

Bloke dont fuck about but once again if its between him and mancini then bye bye mancini

A silly, and hopefully off the cuff remark if ever there was one. In your mind then, who comes in to manage the unhappy player? The unhappy player who, if you had it your way, would be bigger than the club? For me Tevez can do one if he's unhappy. I'd much rather have Mancini and his idea of a striker. Its been fun n'all, but unhappy players have no place in the team.
I think this summer will represent one of massive change both in terms of incoming and outgoing players.

If you aren't happy precious Carlos, then fuck the hell off. Never criticize the club nor it's manager in public again, casue they're way more important that you'll ever be my little insignificant hombre. Instead of whining, maybe you should work on your (lack of) speed mate. You're slower than my grandpa.

With the greatest respect my hombre, I suggest you read the direct quote's involved. Whilst I agree, no man is or ever should be bigger than the club, Reactionary stuff like this is not helpful at all.

You can never allow any player to have the power to sack the maneger, no matter how good that player is.

So if its a straight choice between Mancini and Tevez, I would send Tevez packing.

I wouldnt like it but there you go.

Mancini also revealed he has spoken to Tevez about the training situation, although he refused to reveal details.

"I have spoken to Tevez," he said. "What we said was private but I did remind him that there had been only one time when he had to train twice in a day.

"We have trained twice four times in the five months I have been here. On two of those times Carlos was in Argentina and one time he was here but didn't train. So I don't know why [he's unhappy]. When we don't have a midweek game I always train two times on Tuesday because it's the only way I know."

Tevez joined City from local rivals Manchester United last summer and has scored 28 goals for the Blues so far this season.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm..

Its the only way it can, and should be. its more than likely all bollocks anyway, so all this is hypothetical. I do get a feeling though that Tevez or not, Mancini is going to be allowed an open cheque book this summer. I think that if we were buzzing last summer, it will pail into insignificance compared to this summer. Put it this way, come 1/8 that page SSN have about players in/out of each club, well we'll have about 4 or 5 pages I reckon.

Comedy gold.

People actually lap up this shit.
out of mancinis mouth, just heard it on sky. not happy then leave.

Why the FUCK is Mancini talking about this before one of the most important games in our recent history. Fucking plank should keep his mouth shut.

its not just tevez though is it, seems a lot of players are unhappy, and there is nothing worst than a unhappy playing staff.

Or so You've heard, from the gutter press no doubt. Can you list direct quotes from players other than Robinho, where they specifically state they are unhappy and want to leave?

Read "Its in the Blood"'s post a page or so earlier, and it will give you an insight into how this countries wonderful press create a problem where there isn't one. I sometimes have to work annualised hours when we're busy. Occasionally this inconveniences me and I may have a moan about it. Doesn't mean I hate my boss or I want to change my job though.

Until I see a tv interview and actually see the words "I am unhappy at Man City and I want to Leave" or "I will stay at Man City only if they sack that c**t Mancini" leave Carlos's (or for that matter any senior pro's) mouth, I will treat these latest "revelations" with the contempt they most probably deserve.

Sorry PB, but for the first time your talking out of your arse.

Which club would get rid of a manager because one player isn't apparently happy. None. Exactly.

If Tevez isn't happy and doesn't like the odd double training session(FFS!), then he can go.

Pecking order.

Club.
Fans.
Owner.
Manager.
Players.

The club and the fans will always be around. The others wil come and go.
That's right about the club and fans but buying a player like Tevez sent out a signal to the rest of the football world and letting him go in faqvour of an decent but average manager would send an entirely negative signal.

If it was a real top rank manager like Mourinho or Van Gaal then fair enough but I would suggest Tevez is far more important to us at this stage than Mancini. And what if it's more players than Tevez? and what if these stories are being planted to lay the groundwork for Mancini's departure?

Please tell me one instant in football where the manager was outed rather than the player.??

There have been cliques in the dressing room for as long as I can remember.

Sven had problems. Hughes and now Mancini.

It is a symptom of an unsuccessful club. It is not the cause. However if the symptom is not treated then it can hinder recovery.

Mancini will realise that the only escape from this cycle is to win something. Forge his own authority. However in the meantime the most disruptive influences will be moved on.
