Tevez efforts yesterday

fuck off kia we don't want him to stay!!!
Maybe the whole issue should now be looked at in a new light.

Mancini and Tevez had issues, but at the end it was Tevez fighting for the cause despite mancini giving him next to no time whilst his boy was left on to self-destruct as we all feared he would.

Mancini cracked up on that night in Munich, and if there was a problem with tevez it should have been dealt with in house.

Easily impressed

Based on his supposed lack of fitness, yes.

Based on his supposed lack of interest, yes.

An observation, nothing more.

His lack of fitness? He had been on.for 5 minutes and has been training for what 6 weeks. Think i could manage that.

He has to look interested now for the sake of his career here or otherwise.

It's called desire. Aside from Kompany, I think, he was the only player who felt the need to try and prevent a goal.

People see what they want to.

Tevez drops a City scarf at the cup final, Mario fucks off back to Italy and ignores the FA Cup winning parade.

No difference in my eyes.

Agreed. Maybe tevez knows that change is on the way?

I actually forgot about that, the lad wouldnt even give us his time to attend.

Twists and turns.

We're all being played and nothing is as it seems

people on here slating mario and mancini but if tevez didnt have a holiday it might of been different also our form went to pot when this little fecker came back to city so i blame tevez for coming up short i bet players are pissed off that he refused to do as he told but allowed to play again at least mario been their all season and trying to help his team-mates

Right so you started this thread with the intention of making it a Tevez v Mario debate. And one plus point for Tevez is him running 80 yards and it showing his desire. Well sorry, but he will have to show more than that to prove his desire to wear our shirt than that.

He was our freshest player on the pitch so he should be doing that as a given. Don't know how it deserves special praise. Especially as its him who had no desire to wear our shirt and said he was happy we went out of Europe on stage in Argentina.

In the debacle which was yesterday, it's an observation, nothing more.

His desire since his return has been debated, his willingness to get back and cover, it argues he still wanted to do his best.

Plenty of people poised to make Tevez the scapegoat for this season.

Hardly anyone was missing him when we were sweeping all before us.

As it is, sure we will be able to make better observations now the circus clown has left the building.

Tevez showed his desire when he went home to Argentina.

His sprint back was the natural reaction of a pro footballer and I would have expected nothing less.I can think of quite a few though who wouldnt have done it.

And on the fitness question he has been fit enough to start now for a few games but the manager has chosen to keep him in his place.
