Tevez finally apologises

Bridges burnt for me....I would rather lose the league without him than win it with him.
‘Pride in Battle’ is our motto, we have no pride if he plays again, he has treated the club, players, owners, manager and especially the fans with utter contempt. That apology hasn’t even come from him so even with his apology he has disrespected us.
He needs to get on the pitch tonight and tell us face to face he is sorry in ENGLISH.
'Pride in Battle' is some silly fucking nonsense invented in the 90s. It doesn't define Manchester City in any meaningful shape or form and certainly shouldn't be used as a reason to shoot ourselves in the foot.

Make no mistake about it, Tevez is an absolute **** but anyone declaring that they'd rather lose the title without him than win it with him needs to take a very long look at their priorities as a MANCHESTER CITY supporter.
Agree in the strongest terms

Does any one know for sure that CT himself is actually aware that this apology has been issued by his obnoxious advisers?

The language used is pure lawyer speak and says the absolute minimum. Had CT spoke himself then it would have seemed more "worthy" ... as it is, it's just meaningless and serves only to put him back on the payroll ... which after all is what his advisors want.

Cheers

THe more I think about it, the more I'm looking forward to seeing tevez play again, he really is a quality player.

When fully fit he's one of the best strikers in the world no doubt about it

Not read all 43 (so far) pages.

A statement has been released - allegedly by Tevez, more than likely on behalf of Tevez by his media people/advisors. This may be small and petty of me but until I hear it from his own lips, I'm not having it.

It's dead easy Carlos - stick your ugly head in front of a Sky TV camera and say:

"lo siento a Manchester City Football Club, al jefe, a los jugadores y los aficionados."

Quick, easy and even in Spanish so you don't have to bother your arse with the English.

I know what I am saying is completely unrealistic on a number of fronts (Tevez is stubborn, contemptible, thinks he knows best etc) but as daft as it is, I still get really wound up each time I see him on the telly. It riles me someone paid so much could behave so appallingly irrespective of the perceived circumstances.

Still, with all said and done, we now have an apology, we all move on and if he plays, then I guess he plays. The man still disgusts me but as with countless other posts there will be no booing from me if he ever has the sacred Blue on his back again.

For me it must come from the horses mouth, even if he says it in spanish i dont care, but he must issue a recorded tv interview for the fans really to give him the time of day, if not, i myself couldn't allow him to wear the shirt.

For me it's not that, I'm just not sure that Tevez in is a guarantee of us winning the title, or Tevez out is a guarantee of us not winning.

A decision I'm happy for someone else to make, cause I can see it going tits up.

I would echo what someone else stated- get him on the pitch with a microphone saturday night speaking directly to the fans, only then will people possibly forgive and forget

The fact he has returned opens up more questions.Mancini will be reluctant to climb down but has a very good player at his disposal.Could it be that if the league is won Mancini keeps his job and Tevez gets his move but if that doesn't happen is there a new manager in waiting who would want Tevez to stay and Tevez would be happy to.Mancini as good as a manager as he is does seem to have problems with certain individuals. He reminds me of Glenn Hoddle in some ways that he easily falls out with some.Tevez was exceptional last season but found himself down the pecking order this season for no good reason. His claim to have been treated like a dog isn't without reason.Balotelli as good as he has let the team down on numerous ocasions but has always been welcomed back.A touch of teachers pet about him I think.Adebayor and Bellamy who would have been more than useful this season were cast out but got their moves away albiet that one is on loan and who knows maybe we will see him back again.
