As the Manager, Bobby Manc can decide not to select Tevez ever again and can make him train with the reserves (similar to Bellamy). That could continue until his contract is up and as long as City are paying his wages there's nothing Tevez can do about it. If Tevez refuses he will be in breach of contract again and he's already on a written warning. That would then give City grounds to sack him, and I presume retain his registration and sue him.

I see this as a craft move by City. They didn't have grounds to sack him right now, but by hook or by crook they are going to make sure that he either goes for the right money or he doesn't play for the next couple of years. By which time at his age he'll be finished. City can afford to bite the bullet on this and that's exactly what they are doing.

The whole relationship has obviously broken down irretrievably, not only between Tevez and the Club & Manager, but also with us, the fans. In reality it's better if we can flog him in January and draw a line under it.

What is that exactly now? What we might want isn't necessarily his true market value due to what has happened during/since Bayern.

Not much to say as it's all been covered here, however if I were Bobby I'd put him on the bench tonight, and have him warming up every 5 minutes.

The last thing Charlie boy wants at the moment is to be anywhere near one of our games, he would get anihlated by the fans.
