Tevez fined 4 weeks wages / going to sue (merged)

As many posters above I really want to see an end to this farce. It's not good for the public image of Man City and can't exactly be called ideal for the squad chemistry.

Just wondering: If a player refuses to warm up according to the manager's instructions... isn't he thereby refusing to play? What's the difference really? A manager can't field a non-warmed up player due to injury risks and so on.

-- Wed Oct 26, 2011 6:41 am --

Just thought EVERY MANCHESTER CITY FAN should sue Tevez ..(the club do it on the fans behalf).wonder how much that would cost him..plus if we go out of the CL the club sue him...for loss of income nasty very nasty...Kia..

I wonder if this isn't in fact possible: Last December he went on camera saying how happy he was in Manchester and that he would stay. A lot of people went out to buy shirts with his name on it (including me) after having seen that video. Days later he throws in a public transfer request.

I felt very cheated, and I'm sure so did many others.

Sources at the Etihad revealed the ex-United hero had been told six days prior to Munich he would not be entitled to £6million loyalty bonuses.
His transfer requests in December and July meant those payments would not be made. That decision was ratified and confirmed to the striker on September 21. City had also agreed to sell Tevez in a £40m deal with Brazilian club Corinthians only for it to fall through.

However in agreeing to the player's wish to return to South America, they made it clear he would not be offered a new deal.

Tevez stayed but hardly featured in the opening weeks and three days before Munich, he was an unused sub in a 2-0 win over Everton.

He realised that day, backed up by comments from Mancini, he was now fourth in the pecking order of strikers.

Club officials also noted how the forward did not warm up with the rest of the subs prior to the Bayern clash.

All this leads them to believe Tevez's actions were premeditated.

That suggestion was last night dismissed by sources close to Tevez who vowed "to fight it to the earth".

City say they will not sell Tevez, due back in training today, on the cheap but his camp will challenge the idea the club will demand £40m for a player not even in the reserves.

As for that twåt Mc Carthy his press man...now is a time to reflect ffs they have had nearly a month to do that! pay the fine & move on..

How I saw it this morning is that Mc Carthy is using Sky for distributing the pr side to drum up support and Kia has damaged goods on his hands with his money making machine.

If you thought you couldn't be any more shocked by Kia Joorbachian, then read this: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011 ... -city-fine

So we now for sure that:

1. Despite TWO 'transfer requests' Kia was trying to negotiate a NEW CONTRACT for Tevez at City.

2. That there's a good chance his refusal to warm up/play was planned by Kia, to increase their 'leverage' in negotiating a new contract.

3. That EVERY world we've ever read about his children, homesickness, wanting to retire, being tired etc... are lies.

4. That Kia's case for which he's 'considering' suing is: "the charge presented to the player (breach of contract) is at odds with the statement released on City's website."

That's what he's going to court with, to sue one of the richest individuals in the world?

I honestly think that sometime in the next 5 years, Kia Joorbachian will end up in prison.

just found this......The appropriate response to any claim for defamation from Tevez is a counterclaim for damages arising from loss of transfer value as a result of Tevez's actions.

Do it Tevez/Kia.. see who wins..

Oh dear. Carlos just doesn't know when to give up.

He claims he cares about his family, but surely this further attempt by Tevez to destroy our morale is only angering City fans. English fans may have a bit more class than those in Argentina, and are unlikely to go to the lengths they probably would back in your homeland, but each club here in England still have a minority of nutters.
Your families safety, your own safety should come before your own agenda. You are putting your own families safety at risk by angering people.

Engage your brain for once in your life Carlos you aren't making things easy for yourself.

News about this little **** taking the headlines again removing the shine from one of our finest hours.

I am sick of the little twat

Are you serious? Don't you know how that would go?

Me: "One balti, please."
Carlos: "Que?"
Me: "I said . . . one chicken pie, please."
Carlos: "Que?"
Me: "One pie, dammit. Look, here's three pounds fifty. Now give me my pie!"
Carlos: "Porque?" (sits down behind the counter with arms crossed)

he would probably argue that he was not in the right frame of mind to serve pies and sue the arse of you for asking for the said pie - see its your fault not his
I think you'll find that he never refused to sell the pie, he just refused to warm it up as it had already been warmed up twice before.

that sir is comedy genius

"Considering legal action". Hollow words that will not be carried out, just a damage limitation job. By taking legal action against Mancini, they will be tarnishing the Tevez name even more. Clubs and managers would be scared stiff of a player who is known for taking his bosses to court. They are fucked and they know it.

The independent today reported that the board are 100% behind Mancini and would not offload Tevez on the cheap - stating a £50m price tag.

Not sure who'd buy such a case at such a price. But if they did the that slime ball Joorabchian was would make another wedge. (& BTW I reckon he's a major part of the problem)
