What a shame. Threads are everywhere, and the lad should be covering himself in glory

Such a fucking shame.
Yes. It is a shame that it ends like this.
But let's face it, we are much better team without our over reliance on Tevez.

Over reliance?

He earnt that place. He ran our team and I can never agree with your view

I'm sure that he and silva could have complemented each other

you need to fuck off as much as tevez does - Silva is hugely more influential now that tevez doesnt play, he can work one twos with all other members of the team but that greedy little horrible sod never passed it back, just head down run towards goal and only thinking of himself, the demented little pillock. No way would we have stuffed the scum 6-1 with mr selfish in the side

might already have been posted but that no mark **** Claridge was giving it the big one last night, "everyone just assumes that Tevez refused to play", "why did Mancini not speak to the player instead of sending someone else over", "City have handled this so badly"......Blah Blah Fucking Blah!
I FUCKING HATE THAT TWAT CLARIDGE!

City could make thisn really tough for him if they want to..

We all know he is not keen on training so why not make hime train twice a day on his own.

Loads of laps around the park should do the trick..

There are 'leaks' coming out of City with snippets of info about this situation where previously there were none.

One being the 6m loyalty payments info and the timing of only days before Munchen.

Another interesting bit are the statements about HH Sheikh Mansour personally feeling that Tevez has acted dishonourably towards him, the club, the fans and Manchester.

I suspect that Honour is far more important than money for HH SM and KaM and once they begin talking in those terms Tevez might as well call it a day.

Interesting comment, the middle east is definitely a part of the world where personal honour probably still means a lot more than in certain other places.

I could quite conceivably see HH say "Screw the transfer fee and wages, he can rot in the reserves for the remainder of his contract". Let's face it, another sponsorship deal will cover our losses :-)

tevez should be shipped over to see the sheikh. Once in the middle east it would be quite legitimate to truss him up in the street, apply a thick coating of pedigree chum to his testicles then release a pack of rabid, starving hounds at him.

each season ticket holder should then receive an etihad day return so we can take it in turns to remove one shoe and slap the fucker with it...... and they thought the queue to see gadhaffi was long?

Total disingenuous shit from the arsehole that is Claridge. It was 100% obvious to everyone in the immediate vicinity at the stadium and to millions watching that the little twat refused a direct request from his manager. Totally unprecedented and unforgivable is the only slant any right minded observer can put on it, so Tevez and his management creep Joorabchian can fucking swivel. What has pleased me is that City can now do what they want with him, be it 3 years in the reserves/ sell, (at a price acceptable to them), or offload/ counter sue should they so desire.
I believe the real reason is that Tevez saw his arse after falling down the pecking order, justifiably, as Mancini repeatedly questioned his fitness, and chose this route as a way out. Well it's backfired spectacularly Carlos and you only have yourself to blame.
Wonder who the reserves have got next?

Agreed, but what makes you think he'll even get selected for the Reserves ?

If you thought you couldn't be any more shocked by Kia Joorbachian, then read this: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/oct/26/carlos-tevez-manchester-city-fine" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011 ... -city-fine</a>

"My decision is that, in full view, you refused to carry out an instruction given to you by Roberto Mancini and Ivan Carminati, to resume warming up with a view to playing in the match. You are thereby guilty of misconduct." Assuming that that is what's in the decision letter (as distinct from the club statement) then there's merit to Tevez's case that he only objected to warming up when already warmed up, not to playing. The wording is ambiguous - plainly he refused the insruction to warm up but the rider "with a view to playing in the match" leaves it open whether he was being asked to warm up with a view to playing, or whether his refusal to warm up indicated that he knew it was with a view to playing and therefore refused (whereas he was happy to warm up if he wasn't going to play). I can't see it going to (real) court, but maybe to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. It's bad for Tevez, bad for City, good for lawyers!
