But that's what's annoying me. What reason has Tevez got to be unhappy about? Apart from his kids not being here - a problem that can be quickly solved by simply moving them here - I don't see it. He's bloody captain, so it must show him how much we value him.

But then again - this could be complete rubbish.

Did you consider the fact that he may just not like it here? As fans we love to try and justify everything by stacking it up against how much they earn in a week; He's earning 100k a week, he should be able to run for a full 90 minutes. He's earning 100k a week he should be able to score every game. He's earning 100k a week he should be able to put his emotions to the side and concentrate fully on our wonderful club. It just doesn't work like that, never has, never will. If he's not happy here he's not happy! It's a shame, but despite the unhappiness, has he ever given less than 110%? You could probably reel off a list as long as your arm of players who once unhappy, just don't bother, look disinterested and may as well not be on the pitch, not with Tevez.

I think you're comment about his kids problem being easily solvable probably highlights just how little you or I know about this whole situation. It clearly isn't that simple, or you can be damn sure our club would have made it happen. There are things that transcend money, this could well just be one of those things.
If he doesn't like it here, then why has he been in England since 2006?

Maybe it's harder than I think it is, but it just seems unusual that he's had his kids over there for so long without trying to move them over here. It just doesn't make that much sense.

Maybe it's because he's been here since 2006. You never lived anywhere long enough to get bored of it and want a change? Maybe he's just grown tired of Manchester? I'm happy to direct vitriol at his scum excuse for an agent, but Tevez has worked bloody hard for us. I think he deserves at the very least people not hating the bloke for wanting to leave, maybe even a little respect for helping us to (hopefully) the top table of world football.

There's a lot about it that doesn't make much sense for sure, but I'm happy to judge him on what he's done on the pitch, and for that he will have my gratitude.

Thanks for the 2 years Carlos .
Now fire us to cup glory and champions league and you'll leave as a hero .

a month ago I'd have been shocked at this - not that he wants to leave but it is very close.

Now, I find that since we beat the best team in the league without him, and the team seem to have a comraderie and play less selfishly when he's not there, I can't really be arsed? I think it's because I don't see a situation coming out where, if he does leave, we will not improve on it, at least personnel wise.

I hope he plays a part in the final because he is largely responsible for getting us to where we are, but if he leaves I will say thank you, good luck, and tell your agent/mate Kia to kindly fuck off and never return.

We'll see you next autumn in the group stages, where you will be in the back pocket of our real Captain.

True - Tevez has never felt like a genuine captain.

It's embarrassing really. We have a captain who cannot even communicate with his teammates. And doesn't look happy here. He has no leadership skills.

And we have a captain who writes transfer requests. And cannot even speak English. The only player that he seems to like is Silva and probly Zabba.

Kompany should be the captain.

I think the problem with Tevez is that he thinks he is bigger than the club and the manager.

He has not played well this year either really so, in all honesty, I am okay with him being sold in the summer if we can fetch 40-50m for him, which I think is possible considering Carroll went for 35 and Torres for 50.

Also, ever since he handed in that transfer request I became indifferent towards him really, should have been stripped of the Captaincy right away too.

Would take Sneijder in a heartbeat as well great player.

Tevez under Hughes was bigger than the club. He was our go to guy who could do anything he wanted. Mancini came in and that changed, it was Bobbys way or the highway.. Tevez didnt like that, Bobby knew how important he was for the club so he gave him the captaincy to patch things up..

Tevez being a selfish sneeaky glory hunting prick accepted it and still didnt like Bobby..

Bad move by Bobby as he probably thut it wud give Carlos the responsibility of playing for the club rather than playin for Carlos, Bobby failed as it didnt work.

this Cavani chap looks exactly like a certain sameras...lets hope he's better than him.

In all honestly he looks like Dzeko mk II -

Does he have pace?

Whats the point of having two strikers who play exactly the same?

Maybe bob wants to try his 4-1-2-1-2 with two big men up top like his inter days - Ibra/adriano with wesley sneijder and silva feeding the through balls
