Tevez interview in the Mail

wierd interview, must say

they have spent the last few days piecing together random carlos tevez quotes from about 100 different interviews he has given since he started playing football. its wierd because its all randomly twisted bullshit and i hope we have them strung up for it

In the post match interview at the weekend he was asked about the derby and just said see you goodbye.

I'm suspicious of the interview but despite the mail being a hopeless tabloid rag they do a good sport section so Id be suprised if it wasn't recent. Given the quote about tiger woods at least some was during the masters.

However he will be in the shit for critisising the Hughes sacking. He can moan about the training all he wants. It's working and that's what counts.

The Daily Fail is a f*cking rag paper more than likely the c*nt that wrote this is a RAG, Trying to unsettle us before the Derby, He just gathered loads of quotes from the past and then added his own little stupid quotes to it aswell!

its a bit annoying how this couldn't have just remained between the club and players, typical, the rag media no doubt cumming in their pants

Who gives a flying fuck?

I am confident that the team won't allow garbage like this to distract them ahead of the game, sure they will have a good laugh about it.

Would hazard a guess that the majority of this was said when Carlos was at his "low ebb" when he banged on about retiring from football added to bits they will have garnered from interviews when he was unhappy about being told to come back from Argentina after his child's birth.

My mums just bought the daily mail for me dad hahaha and said here read it, its got an article about tevez hahaha what are the odds in that? I just said take it back I don't read the daily mail it chats bollocks and tell dad to read a paper that talks sence. I for one read the Evening News

Did you read the entire article? He was asked a question, he answered it honestly.

I was neither here nor there with Hughes, I didn't like the way it was done, but it WAS done and the owners brought in their own man, this is what alot of people seem to be forgetting and we're getting slaughtered for "chopping and changing managers" when in reality, the only manager our owners have appointed, is Mancini.

I also believe this interview was not done within the last 2 months. As has been stated previously, there are no double training sessions at the moment, and there hasn't been in quite some time. Not since RM first came in and needed to assess the squad.

Answering 'honestly' isn't actually a defence as in:

'Did you murder this chap lying on the ground?'
'Why yes I did officer'
'Well thats ok I appreciate you answered honestly'

I would agree that the interview is probably old and 'updated' for derby week. Nonetheless the interview was given and the owners will not take kindly to their decisions being questioned so publicly. Furthermore as we are currently sitting in 4th spot it makes Carlos look a bit of a tit because our position does go some way to vindicating their decision not to mention Mancini's training regime.

I have yet to find any owner/employer/boss take kindly to having their decisions or their methods questioned publicly.

Hence 'stupid tit'

Couple of things. Who do you think has a better grasp of good management - the owners, the players, or the bluemoon armchair expert XI?

Secondly, why do you think this interview was done?

dont like that interview. made city appear in a very negative light. in an ideal world you would think tvevz qould love the fans as much as we love him but i dont think thats the case. or maybe it was just the way the interviewer worded the questions etc.

Whether the interview is new or rehashed, I'm glad the lad has his own mind, rather than being a mouthpiece that just says everything we as blues want to hear.

We need strong characters in that dressing room if we are to get where we want to go.

Can anyone tell me why he supposedly now says he does not like the poster but a couple of months ago the same paper runs a story (containing quotes) on how he has a copy of the poster in his game room?

The media are filled with lying bastards, is the only explanation I can come up with.

I think we're going to find that this time round, this isn't so much a case of the media stirring shit up, as there being a lot more going on behind the scenes than people realize - and maybe Carlos felt he needed to get his message out there about certain issues. You can question using an interview to air some of these things, but I imagine it's not that easy for him to just ring up Khaldoon or Cook and have a chat about things.

his goal-scoring might be unparalleled, but no one would argue that he's the brightest (or best-looking) of people.

Can you be a bit more specific? What's Carlos' message? That Hughes is a great manager. And Mancini isn't up to the job.
