If City sign Tevez, that will definitely send a signal around the football world. What would be even better is if they could sign him within the next few days and not have to wait until July. This would immediately give the club a big boost and may well help in the quicker signing of other big players....Eto'o etc. It should be a very interesting next couple of weeks.

You are spot on and United have been particularly stupid in their handling of this. They've made it look even worse than it might have been but they couldn't stick to the line of not wanting to buy Tevez and he is being over priced etc etc. I can only assume it was complacency. Presumably, something made them think that if they met the asking price, Tevez would stay. Half-wits, I tell you.

i am confused why is it wen a world class player wants to sign for us its cus they r greedy??

are we not entitled to sign these players?

are the so called big 4 only allowed to? so we dont break the medias cycle?

if utd signed tevez or liverpool or chelsea even arsenal it would be a fantastic move for him to a club looking to win stuff.

but no hes greedy if he chooses city. its noting to do with football.
